Cougar Field

Home to CSU softball, Cougar Field is regarded as one of the top softball facilities in the entire country. A two-time recipient of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Field of the Year award, Cougar Field was rated the top playing surface in all of Division II in 2010 and 2024. It features a scoreboard with a video display in right center, professional lighting, and spacious walk-in dugouts equipped with restroom facilities for both teams. A brand new covered hitting and pitching facility was added for the 2017 season, providing the Lady Cougars a place to practice regardless of weather conditions. The "Cougar Cave" is a 6,000 square foot turf facility that features six multi-use cages with three pitching areas.

Off the field, CSU softball uses the Charles B. Morrow Clubhouse where they enjoy their own personal lockers, bathroom, showers, and laundry facility. The locker room was renovated before the 2017 season and features new custom made cherry wood lockers with the CSU logo laser engraved on each, in addition to new couches and television. The clubhouse also houses the coaches offices, coaches locker room, and storage areas.

Not only did the field serve as the practice site for the 1996 Olympic Team, it has been used by several top Division I schools for practices and also hosted numerous games and tournaments for both high school and junior colleges.
