 Individual Rifle Camp

This camp is designed for the shooter who needs more individual instruction to improve as a shooter. Camp will include lunch and will review gun safety and proper use of air rifle equipment , taught by a certified instructor. For more information call 706-507-8429.

 Rifle Camp

This camp, taught by a certified instructor, is designed for young people interested in becoming involved in competitive shooting or those who wish to improve their marksmanship skills. This camp will review gun safety and the use of air rifle, pellets and targets. Air guns and pellets are provided. Campers will meet in Woodruff Gym. For more information call 706-507-8429.

 High School Rifle Camp

This camp is designed for High School level and Club Teams concentrating on team building, 3P instruction and all the dynamics to make a solid team. We will also introduce your team to the "How To" in College Rifle. Camp includes lunch in the CSU cafeteria. For more information call 706-507-8429.

 Baseball Camps

The Cougar Baseball Camp is for both young and older players looking to develop skills, learn the game, and have fun. Players will receive individualized instruction and learn fundamentals of hitting, pitching, fielding, and team play. Players will be divided into age groups for drills and games. The camp will be led by the CSU Head Coach Greg Appleton and his assistant coaches Patrick Collins and Sammy Styers. Campers will meet daily at Ragsdale Field on the CSU campus.  Basketball Camps

Basketball Fundamentals Camp (Boys & Girls)

This camp is designed to accommodate all skill levels. Campers will improve their basketball playing skills and focus on the fundamentals and participating in different contests and scrimmages. The Columbus State University Men’s and Women’s coaching staff will provide instruction. Campers will meet at the Lumpkin Center on the CSU campus. Visit csucougars. com for more information.

Basketball Shooters Camp 

This camp is designed to help players improve their shooting technique. Campers will work on three point shots, free throws, and shooting off the dribble. The Men’s and Women’s coaching staff will be providing instruction. Campers will meet at the Lumpkin Center on the CSU campus. Visit csucougars.com for more information.

 Cheerleading Camp

40th Annual Cheerleading Camp

The 2013 cheerleading camp is the 40th Annual and is the longest running camp on campus. The CSU Cheerleading program is one of the best Division II programs in the nation. The CSU cheerleaders have won several Peach Belt Titles, are nationally ranked and are the 2004, 2005 & 2008 UCA National Champions. The 40th Annual Columbus State University Cheerleading Camp will feature cheers, chants, jumps, dances and a lot of fun. The week will end on Friday morning with a Pep Rally for family and friends. The CSU cheerleaders will offer guidance in all aspects of Cheerleading. Call Jimbo Davis at 706-568-2317 for more information. Campers meet at the CSU Lumpkin Center.

Golf Camps

FUN-Damentals of Golf Camp 

Do you want to be a champion golfer one day? Then FUN-damentals of Golf is a summer camp for you. Come to the CSU golf camps at the Mark Immelman Golf Teaching Center located at the Bull Creek Golf Course. Gain a deeper understanding of golf, and build confidence in your ability while having a fun-filled time with other campers. During the camp you will learn and practice driving, iron play, chipping, bunker play, and putting, as well as learning the rules and correct etiquette. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Bring your own lunch. You are required to wear appropriate clothes and golf or tennis shoes. Note: to be a champion golfer you also have to have your own golf equipment! For more information call CSU Head Golf Coach, Mark Immelman at 706-565-4829.

Golf Camp (Girls Only)

This camp is designed to give an aspiring young golfer a better understanding of golf as well as life skills. Learn and practice putting, chipping, bunker play, and driving, as well as the rules and proper etiquette of golf. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. You should wear appropriate clothing and sunscreen, as well as bring your own golf equipment. Instruction will be given by CSU Women’s Golf Coach Brian Padgett, as well as team members. Soccer Camps

SPRING BREAK Soccer Camp 2013

The Spring Break Soccer Camp is designed to give extra training to both boys and girls who want to improve on the fundamentals of soccer. Skills will be taught according to age and ability with a small sided approach. Each session will focus on various areas of the game including dribbling, finishing, passing, receiving, possession, and goalkeeping. Classes will run every day during the Muscogee County Spring Break. All campers are required to bring their own soccer ball, water bottle, and a snack. All classes will be taught at the CSU Walden Soccer complex on campus located just off of Algonquin Drive. For additional information please contact Jay Entlich at 706-507-8055. Soccer Camps 

Soccer Camps focus on making the game of soccer easy and fun. Learn the skills of dribbling, passing, kicking, and making goals. The typical day includes fundamentals and match-related skills training, tactical awareness training, and competitive group and team play. Players at all skill levels will benefit from the program. Full day campers eat lunch in the cafeteria (included in tuition). In the afternoon, play indoor soccer and go swimming when facilities are available. Meet at the CSU Walden soccer complex. Spaces are limited as only the first 200 campers will be allowed to participate in each camp.

Camp Brochure

CSU Elite Soccer Camp

Elite Soccer Camp is for those who want more opportunities to grow as a player. Gain strength and conditioning, speed and agility, and the opportunity to learn more advanced tactics and functional training. Camp will focus on helping players speed of play and decision making capabilities. A recruiting seminar will be offered during this camp to help you better understand the recruiting process. Camp begins on Saturday with check-in at the dormitories from 2-3pm followed by a meeting to begin camp at 4pm at the Mock Pavilion. Resident campers must be at least 11 years old. Spaces are limited as only the first 400 campers will be allowed to participate.

Elite Camp Brochure

Striker/GK Camp

 The fifth annual Striker/Goalkeeper camp offers specialty training for players who like to score goals and become better goalkeepers. The entire week will focus on being the best strikers and goalkeepers in the area. This camp is for players who want the next level of training. Spaces are limited as only the first 200 campers will be allowed to participate.

Middle School Prep Camp 

This camp is for boys and girls who will be entering into the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. The camp will be for Middle School soccer players getting ready for their upcoming Middle School season. We will focus on preparing the players to play at a higher level and work on tactics training and individual skill development. Spaces are limited as only the first 200 campers will be allowed to participate.

Tennis Camp

Tennis Camp 

The CSU Tennis Camps explore the game of tennis and the fundamentals needed to be a successful player whether you are a beginner or advanced player. Instruction covers the fundamentals, and combines games, drills, and workouts with the ball machine. We will work on the backhand and forehand swings, and the serve. Campers will meet at the CSU Mary Blackmon Tennis Center. For more information call 706-568-2317.

Dance Camp

Dance Camp 

The CSU Dance Team, one of the south’s best Division II programs, will conduct their Annual Dance Camp at CSU. The camp will feature all types of dances. Volleyball Camps

Volleyball Camp

This camp is designed for the beginner volleyball player and will emphasize the basic fundamentals of the game. This is not an overnight camp. The camp runs four days with eight training sessions. Full day campers will eat lunch in the cafeteria (included in tuition). In the afternoon campers will swim in the indoor pool at the new Campus Recreation Center. Fee includes CSU volleyball T-shirt.

Volleyball All Skills Camp

This camp is designed for the intermediate to advanced volleyball player and will emphasize the technical fundamentals of the game. Emphasis will be placed on developing court movement, ball control, as well as game competition. This camp runs four days with three-hour long training sessions. Fee includes lunch and dinner in the CSU cafeteria as well as a CSU volleyball t-shirt.

Volleyball Setter & Attacker Camp

This camp is designed for players looking to enhance individual aspects of their game. Emphasis will be placed on specific techniques and skill sets related to each athlete. Fee includes CSU volleyball t-shirt.

Volleyball Team Competition Camp

This camp will place sole emphasis on team development through competition. This camp will train athletes through a variety of drills focusing the competitive aspect of the game. Coaches have the option of training with their teams. This camp will run three days with eight training sessions. Fee includes lunch and dinner in the CSU cafeteria as well as a CSU volleyball t-shirt.
