Jake returns for his senior season at CSU after a solid camapaign in 09...hit .301 in 83 at bats splitting time at second base...played well defensively only committing 2 errors in 129 chance for a fielding percentage of .984...will be in competition for the starting second base job in 2010.

Junior College: played two years at Southern Union in Wadley, AL under coach Joe Jordan...Batted .449 with 19 doubles as a sophomore...First team All-Region as a freshman with a .386 batting average.

High School:  Graduate of East Coweta HS in Sharpsburg, GA...Two-time All-County selection...Part of 2004 5A state runner-up squad.
