Alex returns for his senior season with CSU after turning in a very good year for the Cougars in 09...started in centerfield for the Cougars in 49 of 50 games in 09...led the team in hitting with .389 average...had 82 hits and 45 runs scored which led CSU in both categories...broke a school record with 10 consecutive hits in two games against conference foe, Georgia Southwestern...was named to Peach Belt All-Conference second team for his play in 09...played summer ball for the Columbus Woodbats of the Great South League in 09.

Junior College: Played two years at Chattahoochee Valley Community College under coach Adam Thomas ...Batted .402 and stole 27 bases in two seasons.
