Brodie is a left-handed pitcher that transferred from Miami University in Ohio. He was redshirted in '09 and will be a freshman this season. Brodie is a tall, lanky lefty with good control and features a curve and a change-up.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Marist School in Atlanta...played for Coach Mike Strickland...in senior year, ...pitched 55 innings with 75 strikeouts, and a 1.92 ERA...lettered two years with the War Eagles.

Personal: son of Charlie and Corinne Leibrandt..favorite food is BBQ chicken pizza...loves to go skiing...lists his Dad as having the most influence in his life...favorite professional athlete is Cole Hamels of the Philadelphia Phillies...his most memorable athletic achievement was throwing a 2 hitter with 14 K's  against the Puerto Rican 18U National team.
