High School: Graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA...three year letterman for coach Frank Vashaw...led team to a region championship and an Elite Eight appearance in the state tournament in his senior season...holds home run record and RBI record at North Gwinnett...was voted player of the year in Gwinnett County in his senior year...was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 47th round in 2007.
