Alex is in her first season at CSU.  She cheered for Tolland High School's Varsity football, basketball and competition cheer squads all four years of high school.  Alex was named to the Connecticut All-State Cheerleading team in 2005, 2006 and 2007 during her sophomore, junior and senior years of high school.  Alex is currently employed by Universal Cheerleading Association.  Alex has been working for UCA since 2007 and teaches cheerleading camps & clinics across the country.

Personal:  Daughter of Lorna Engelbert.  Younger siblings are Ashley, Christian and Nicolas.  Her favorite food is her mom's chicken alfredo.  Her favorite movie is Mean Girls.  She enjoys stand up comedy, spending time with friends, and playing with her dog Charlie. Lists her grandfather as her biggest influence in life.  Plans on being a high school English teacher after she graduates.
