Tryout Date for 2009-10 Cheer Squads Set

Columbus, GA - Columbus State University cheer coach Jimbo Davis has announced the date for 2009 CSU Cheer Tryouts. The event will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at the Lumpkin Center.

Tryouts are open to anyone who is a full time student at Columbus State University or anyone who has applied for admission to CSU. This includes incoming freshmen and transfer students. Students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and be free of any academic or disciplinary probations. Acceptance to CSU must be completed by July 1, 2009 to keep a place on the team, if selected.  Anyone who has not yet applied and been accepted to CSU, or any other prospective students may easily apply online at the CSU website by clicking here.
