Oh So Close! Small Co-Ed Finishes Second...Large Co-Ed Finishes Fourth

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. -- The Columbus State Small Co-Ed cheer squad could not come much closer to a national championship without winning. On Saturday, the squad finished as runners-up to Northern Kentucky for the second straight year, this time by less than a point in the final scoring.

Iowa Western Community College was third, Snead State Community College fourth, and Evangel University fifth.

The Large Co-Ed squad also had yet another successful run at a title but finished fourth in Saturday's final standings after a small technical error on one of the stunts during the routine. Northwest Missouri State won the title, followed by Slippery Rock, West Georgia, CSU, and Puerto Rico Bayamon.
