Orlando, FL – Ali Anderson and Tommy Goforth finished third and Chelsea Horton and Jason Riel placed fourth in the Partner Stunt competition to give the Columbus State University cheerleading team a pair of tandems in the top four of the event for the second consecutive year.
Anderson and Goforth won the national championship last year while Horton and Riel again were a place behind again as they took home second in 2011.
Cassidy Drysdale and David Bellew also competed in the event but did not place in the top 10.
For the second straight year, CSU is the only institution to have at least two tandems finish in the top five.
The Small and Large Co-Ed teams will be in action tomorrow as they look to represent Columbus State University on the national state as well. The Small Co-Ed team won the national championship a year ago while the Large team finished in second place.
