Currently in his third year with Columbus State University, Andy Brown came to Columbus State from the University of Delaware where he was the head coach for three years. While at the University of Delaware he lead them to two back to back national partner stunt championships, as well as three second place finishes at the UCA College National Cheerleading Championships.

Before the University of Delaware, Brown attended Slippery Rock University. Prior to graduating with his bachelors in Health and Physical Education, he was able to capture his first national championship by winning the UCA College National partner Stunt Championship in 2003.

In the spring of both 2009 and 2010, Andy Brown was also a member of the USA COED National Cheerleading team that successfully won the 2009 and 2010 International Cheer Union (ICU) World Cheerleading Championships.

Andy also finished his masters degree in Leadership here at Columbus state University. Some other notable achievements include:

  • Cheered in Graduate School at the University of Hawaii
  • Choreographed nationally at both the High School and Collegiate Levels
  • Ten year UCA College Staff member
  • UCA Core Staff Training Instructor
  • AACCA Certified
  • National and international judge at both high school and college levels
  • A former world power lifting champion in 2000
Brown, a native to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, now resides in Columbus, where he enjoys eating, sleeping, fitness, and from time to time golf.
