Peterson Named All-Peach Belt Conference
Columbus – Steve Peterson was named to the Peach Belt Conference Second Team announced by the PBC office Tuesday afternoon. The players were voted upon by the league's head coaches.

The Columbus native is just one of two players in the PBC to average at least 12 points and five rebounds a game as well as having at least 40 assists and steals this season. For the year, he grabs 5.5 rebounds a contest and has tallied 45 assists and 41 steals.
His best game in a Cougar uniform came this season when he scored a career high 27 points and pulled down 11 rebounds versus West Alabama on December 10, 2011.
This is the first season since the 2004-05 year that the Cougars have been represented on at least the second team. They have had 13 second teamers all-time and 30 players honored by the PBC overall.
