Former Men's Golfer Qualifies for Nationwide Tour Event
Chattanooga, TN - Former Columbus State men's golfer JP van der Walt shot a 1-under 71 in the first round of the Chattanooga Classic, a Nationwide Tour Event, at the Black Creek Club. van der Walt, who played for CSU the last two seasons, shot 67 in Monday's qualifier to gain entry into the event. This is the first Nationwide event for the South African.
His second round tee time is scheduled for 2:30 PM on hole #1 at the Black Creek Club.
