CSU Netters Post 9-0 Win over Fort Valley State on Friday
Columbus, GA -- Columbus State's men's and
women's tennis teams came away with a pair of sweeps over
Fort Valley State at the Blackmon Tennis Center on Friday.
Both squads blanked the Wildcat teams with the men and women
posting a 9-0 victory.
The CSU men took all three doubles points, losing just one
game in the process. The story was the same in singles as the
Cougars took all six matches dropping only five games. In #1
singles, Olivier Simonet won 6-0, 6-0. The men move to 3-1 on the
season.
In the women's match, CSU dropped just two games in the five
matches with the #6 match being a default. Two CSU doubles
squads posted 8-1 wins and a default with the #3 match.
