Christophe Noblet is entering his first year with the Columbus
State University tennis program as a graduate assistant coach in
the 2011-2012 season.
Noblet played his junior and senior seasons for Coach Evan Isaacs
as the Cougars made consecutive trips to the NCAA national
semifinals. In 2011, Noblet went 10-8 at first singles for the
Cougars defeating three nationally ranked opponents. He was even
more impressive in doubles as he went 20-4 with his partner Gordan
Divljak. The duo finished the season ranked second in the nation
and had a 13-match winning streak during the year. Also during the
course of the year they defeated the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 ranked
doubles teams.
In 2010, Noblet went 15-4 on the season while playing most of his
matches at the fifth singles position.
During his time at Columbus State, Noblet was selected as a first
team All-Peach Belt
Conference doubles player and a second team selection playing as a
singles player. In 2011, Noblet was also selected as a first team
ITA All-American for his outstanding play in doubles action. He was
a PBC All-Academic selection and an ITA Scholar Athlete as
well.
Noblet will graduate in May 2012 with a Master's degree in Public
Administration. During the year, he will be assisting with
both the men’s and women’s teams.
