2011 NCAA Rifle Championship

The 2011 NCAA Rifle Championship is finally here!! Congratulations to all of the teams and individual shooters that have qualified for the event. 

For all of the fans of the participants, below you will find links that direct you to a webstream of the shooting relays to watch live.  You will also be able to access the target data of each individual as they fire every shot.

Saturday, March 12
**UPDATE - 6:08 P.M.**
Nicco Campriani of West Virginia wins the individual air rifle championship followed by teammate Petra Zublasing.  Henri Junghanel places third of Kentucky, Sarah Scherer of TCU finishes fourth and Justin Pentz of West Virginia rounds out the top five.

West Virginia takes home the team air rifle championship with a team score of 2368.  Kentucky is your runner-up with a score of 2364 and TCU finishes in third with a 2351 score.

Kentucky is your overall national champion posting a combined score of 4700.  West Virginia was right on their heels finishing with a 4697 and TCU came in third place with a 4664.

Congratulations to all of the teams and student-athletes on an outstanding season!!


**UPDATE - 3:34 P.M.**

Your field is set with Justin Pentz of West Virgnia and Heather Greathouse of Kentucky advancing after a three-person shoot-off to join Henri Junghanel of Kentucky, Alix Moncada of UTEP, Nicco Campriani of West Virginia, Petra Zublasing of West Virginia, Sarah Scherer of TCU and Anna Hjelmevol of Alaska in the Individual Air Rifle Finals.


**UPDATE - 12:37 P.M.**


Relay two is complete and here is your top five scorers thus far.  Petra Zublasing of West Virginia with a 593, Alix Moncada of UTEP with a 592, Heather Greathouse of Kentucky with a 591, Kelly Buck of Army with a 590 and Emily Holsopple of Kentucky with a 589. 

**UPDATE - 10:03 P.M.**

After the first air rifle relay is complete, Alix Moncada of UTEP is in the lead with a 592.  In second place is Heather Greathouse of Kentucky with a 591 while Kelly Buck of Army sits in third place with a 590.  The range is being cleared and the second relay is preparing to shoot.

Friday, March  11
**UPDATE - 4:57 P.M.**

Congratulations to Ethan ​Settlemir​es, your individual smallbore champion with an overall score of ​691. Nicco Campriani finished second with a 689 final score while Heather Greathouse took home third with a 685.5.  Great job by all of the student-athletes today!!

**UPDATE - 4:25 P.M.**

Your field is set and Daniel Hermsmeier of Memphis won the shoot-off to join Ethan Settlemires of Kentucky, Heather Greathouse of Kentucky, Nicco Campriani of West Virginia, Tom Santelli of West Virginia, Caitlin Morrissey of TCU, Kelly Buck of Army and Samuel Muegge of Jacksonville State in the Individual Smallbore Finals.

**UPDATE - 3:55 p.m.**

Andrea Dardas of Jacksonville State, Amanda Furrer of Ohio State, Daniel Hermsmeier of Memphis and Petra Zublasing of West Virginia are all tied with a score of 582 for a spot in the finals. There will be a five-shot shoot-off to determine the finalist to compete against Ethan Settlemires of Kentucky, Heather Greathouse of Kentucky, Nicco Campriani of West Virginia, Tom Santelli of West Virginia, Caitlin Morrissey of TCU, Kelly Buck of Army and Samuel Muegge of Jacksonville State.

**UPDATE - 1:20 p.m.**

After the second smallbore relay, the top four shooters still remain the same with Heather Greathouse leading with a score of 587. Three shooters are tied for second with a 584 - Kelly Buck of Army, Caitlin Morrissey of TCU and Tom Santelli of West Virginia. Petra Zublasing of West Virginia ranks fifth with a score of 582.  

**UPDATE - 10:10 a.m.**

After the first smallbore relay is complete, Heather Greathouse of Kentucky is in the lead with a 587.  Three shooters are tied for second with a 584 - Kelly Buck of Army, Caitlin Morrissey of TCU and Tom Santelli of West Virginia.  The range is being cleared and the second relay is preparing to shoot.
