Jamie Beyerle

Jamie Beyerle is entering her first full season as the assistant coach of the Columbus State rifle program in the 2011-2012 season.
Beyerle graduated from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks where she was a member of one of the most successful rifle programs in the country. In her time at Alaska-Fairbanks, the Nanooks won three National Championships.
Beyerle participated in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China for the United States rifle team. There, she finished fourth in the Women’s 10m air rifle event and fifth in the Women’s 50m smallbore event.
In March 2011, Beyerle won gold in the 50m smallbore competition at the International Shooting Sport Federation event held in Sydney, Australia. She also won gold in the same event at the ISSF competition in Fort Benning which was held this May.
In July, USA Shooting announced that Beyerle was nominated to the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team. She is currently ranked first in the world in the 50m smallbore event.
Jamie was born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania and now resides in
Phenix City.
