Brittany returns for her fourth and final season of college softball...Started all 61 games for CSU in 2009... Batted .260 with 46 hits and 24 RBIs...Led the team with seven homers and led in runs scored with 40...Tied for first on the club with 13 doubles...Had five of five stolen bases.
2008: Started every game and led the club with seven homers and 29 RBIs, and a .581 slugging %...Batted .341 with 44 hits, including 10 doubles.
2007: Named Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year...Tied for second on the team with nine home runs and was second on the squad with 54 RBI...Made just six errors at the shortstop position as a freshman.
High School: Brittany came to CSU from Greenbrier High School in Evans, GA, where she played four seasons for coach Garrett Black...She was a part of four winning seasons, four region championship teams and one state championship team...Named Best Defensive Player as a sophomore and earned All-State honors as a junior...Was an All-Region performer for four straight seasons.
Personal: Daughter of Mike and Tonya Leverett and has one sister and one brother...Lists mac and cheese as her favorite food and White Chicks as her favorite movie...Enjoys shopping, watching TV and laughing in her free time...Would love to one day go surfing for the first time...Lists her sister as her role model in sports and Andruw Jones as her favorite pro player...Lists Oprah Winfrey as her hero because she is very strong-willed and determined...Chose CSU because of the good softball team and good nursing program.
