2011 Softball Camps

Softball Skills Camp (Girls Only)

This camp is designed for the younger athlete looking to improve their overall skills.  Campers will be grouped according to skill level. This camp will be headed up by CSU softball coach Brad Huskisson and will meet at the CSU Softball Field.

Half Day Camp

Ages 8-14: May 31-June 3, 2011 (Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)  Cost: $110

Full Day Camp (Lunch is provided)

Ages 8-14: May 31-June 3, 2011 (Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM)   Cost: $200

*Campers will need to bring a softball bat and glove.

Softball Pitcher/Catcher Camp (Girls Only)

This camp is specifically designed to teach those campers who are wanting to learn how to pitch and catch. All the basics of both areas will be covered thru drill work that each camper can take home to continue their progress.This camp will be headed up by CSU softball coach Brad Huskisson and will meet at the CSU Softball Field. Ages 8-18: July 11-12, 2011 (Monday-Tuesday, 9:00 AM - 12 Noon)   Cost: $80

Softball Hitting Camp (Girls Only) 

Campers will learn the basics of the hitter's swing thru a vast amount of drill work. Advanced hitters will have the opportunity to learn how to prepare them mentally and learn how to hit different pitches.  Players that wish to learn how to slap hit will also have the opportunity to be assigned to a slappers group.  Groups will be divided into beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Ages 8-18: July 13-15, 2011 (Wednesday-Friday, 9 AM - 12 Noon) Cost: $100 

Nike Softball Camp

US Sports Camps combines with Nike and USA/ASA Softball to offer the Nike Softball Camps sponsored by USA Softball.

Overnight Campers: 

Ages 8-18 / June 26-30, 2011  Cost: $455

 *Includes all meals, housing, and Nike Camp T-shirt

Extended Day Campers/ 9 AM - 9 PM: 

Ages 8-18 / June 26-30, 2011   Cost: $355 

*Includes lunch, dinner, and Nike Camp T-shirt

High School Elite Prospect Softball Camp (Girls Only)

For high school players only, this camp is designed for serious high school players who want to play at the collegiate level. All aspects of the game will be covered. Morning and afternoon sessions will consist of drill work, while night sessions will be game times. 

Commuter: 

Ages 14-18 / July 18-20, 2011 /Monday-Wednesday 9am-9pm / $200 

Resident: 

Ages 14-18 / July 18-20, 2011 /Monday-Wednesday 9am-9pm / $300
