Tiffany Buckmaster will be entering her first year as a graduate
assistant softball coach during the 2011-12 school year. She
will assist with the day-to-day operations with the softball
program with an emphasis on recruiting and working with the
outfielders and slap hitters.
Buckmaster finished off her four-year career at Bluffton University
this past spring helping them make the conference tournament every
season. She played an important part of the 2009 team that produced
the school’s first-ever 30 win season as Buckmaster appeared
in 38 games for the Beavers. Bluffton also captured the
Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference that season.
Off the field, Buckmaster worked at the Doug Gillis Softball
Academy alongside Doug Gillis and Eddie Kettlehut, member’s
of the USA Men’s Softball Team.
Buckmaster graduated in May 2011 with a degree in Education with an
emphasis on Health and Physical Education. While at Columbus
State, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in Public
Administration with a concentration in Health Services.
