Kimesha Anthony Finishes in Top Five as CSU Women Take 11th at Berry College Invitational

Rome, Ga. -- Columbus State's Kimesha Anthony shot a final-round 76 to finish at 157 on Tuesday and earned All-Tournament honors at the Berry College Invitational. Anthony finished tied for fifth in the event. The Lady Cougar linksters finished 11th in the 15-team tournament.

Teammate Heather Altiser shot a final round of 82 on Tuesday to earn a top 20 finish as she came in 20th spot with a two-day total of 168. Samantha Hamilton (100-95, T68), Leslie Hatcher (105-207, T76) and Alex Espana (112-224, T80) rounded out the CSU team on Tuesday. CSU shot 727 as a team.

Shorter led from wire-to-wire to win the event with a two-day total of 634. Cumberlands was second and Berry third.

CSU returns to action on March 22-23 at the West Georgia Invitational in Villa Rica, Ga.
