Season one for Padgett and the Lady Cougars was a tough one, full of learning experiences and struggles. However, the Lady Cougars made significant strides forward in year two.

Padgett and the team made history on October 11, 2010 as the Lady Cougars won the first tournament in program history. Niki Crowley also became the first outright individual champion for CSU in the same event. The firsts just kept on coming for Padgett as Columbus State hosted the first women’s golf tournament in late February at the Columbus Country Club.

The Lady Cougar golf program continued to make history as Kimesha Anthony became the first Lady Cougar to qualify for the NCAA South Regional. Anthony performed well finishing in a tie for 25th place and helped put Columbus State on the map in women’s golf.
