Eddie Miranda is entering his first year as a student assistant coach for the women’s soccer team in the 2011-2012 season.

Born and raised in Columbus, Miranda graduated from Hardaway High School in 2006 where he played varsity soccer all four years. Miranda was named to the All Bi-City First Team in each of his four seasons.

Since obtaining his USSF “D” Coaching License in the summer of 2007, Miranda has assisted the Calvary Christian School girls’ team, both the boys’ and girls’ teams at St. Luke Middle School and the St. Anne-Pacelli boys’ squad.

He is currently the Director of Coaching for the Excel Soccer program for the Columbus Youth Soccer Club.

Miranda is studying to obtain a degree in Education from CSU.
