Columbus State Set to Announce Head Volleyball Coach

Columbus – Columbus State University athletic director Jay Sparks is set to name the new head volleyball coach at a press conference on Thursday, May 17 at 12:00 p.m. inside the President’s Club in the Lumpkin Center. 

Sparks will make his opening remarks regarding the search process and the candidate before introducing the new head volleyball coach. 

At that point the new coach will make their introductory remarks and be open for questions.

The Lady Cougars will begin competition in the fall of 2013 competing in the Peach Belt Conference, one of the premier Division II conferences in the nation.

CSU will now sponsor 15 varsity sports and this will be the first addition since Columbus State added men’s and women’s track & field, rifle and women’s golf.
